Meet DeeDee: The Tiny Tabby with the Biggest Heart! 🤎🐾 If there were an Olympic event for making friends, DeeDee would take home the gold. At just 3½ months old (as of 8.1.2026), this adorable tabby kitten may be small, but she has enough love, confidence, and personality to fill an entire house. In fact, she might just be the friendliest, sweetest, most outgoing kitten ever to pass through Bed-Stuy Cat Diner Rescue. DeeDee’s story began in the walls of a bodega basement, where she was born before making her way into rescue. You’d never guess it from meeting her. She has never met a person she didn’t want to love. From the moment she arrives in your home, DeeDee will assume you’ve been best friends forever. She loves cuddles, seeks out affection, and has a particular talent for turning your belly into the world’s coziest nap spot. If you’re sitting still, chances are she’ll be curled up on you before you know it. When she’s not snuggling, DeeDee is all about fun. She’s playful, spunky, endlessly curious, and always ready for another game. And don’t let her petite size fool you—she’s more than capable of holding her own in a wrestling match with her best friend, Mugsy. While Mugsy is the ultra-playful kitten with the oversized paws, DeeDee is the fearless social butterfly who gives her confidence. They balance each other perfectly. They’re not sisters by birth—they’re about a month apart in age—but they chose each other as family. Whether they’re chasing each other through the house, staging tiny wrestling matches, or curling up together after an exhausting day of being adorable, they’re happiest side by side. Because of their incredible bond, DeeDee and Mugsy must be adopted together. Together, they’ll fill your home with laughter, zoomies, purrs, and endless entertainment. They’ll brighten your mornings, make you smile after a long day, and remind you daily that the best things really do come in pairs. If you’re ready for twice the fun, twice the cuddles, and two best friends who can’t wait to become part of your family, DeeDee and Mugsy are ready to meet you. DeeDee is up to date on vaccines, negative for FeLV/FIV, has been treated for parasites, and will be spayed and microchipped by the rescue as part of the adoption package in a few weeks. The Adoption Fee for DeeDee & Mugsy as a pair is $300.
