My story
Smokey used to live in my house with her owner (a tenant), who later moved out. The owner just died suddenly, so I am looking after Smokey until I can find her another home since no one else could take her. Smokey is under 10 yrs old, probably FIV positive but in good health, quiet and sweet. Loves to perch on windowsills. Loves catnip toys. Does not like having nails trimmed, flea treatment application, or getting into a carrier. She and my four cats never got along when she was here before, and they won't now. She is being kept separate from them. I cannot afford to take on a fifth cat but do not want to take her to a shelter. She might do best as the only cat. FIV cats can live long lives.
