My story

Meet Lola! Lola hasn’t had the easiest start in life. She was rescued from an abandoned home, taken to an overcrowded shelter, and then timestamped for space - we were able to step in and rescue her just in time! She was then adopted into a loving home where the resident dog made it clear she was an unwanted guest, so now she’s back in our care. Despite all of the hardship in her life - Lola has remained affectionate, playful and sweet - now she just needs a true forever home! Lola is the absolute most loving girl on the planet. If you like personal space, then she’s probably not the dog for you. She will follow you to the bathroom, to the couch, outside, probably even to the moon and she will cover you with kisses along the way. She loves everyone! She can be overstimulated by high energy kids - and will match their energy with playful nips - so older calmer kids would be best for her. Lola does well with other dogs and enjoys having a playful & friendly companion to wrestle and romp around the yard with. She is so silly with the resident cats - she wiggles her whole body to try and play with them but is always gentle. While she is strong, she walks well on leash and doesn’t react to cars, people or other dogs along the way. She rides beautifully in the car and will make a great adventure companion. She loves to cocoon herself under the blankets on a comfy bed and it’s the cutest thing! This beautiful 2 year old, 40 lb pittie/bully mix with the most adorably ridiculous giant ears and sandy-colored brindle coat deserves the best family to give her all of the love she could possibly want!
