My story

Hi, I’m Alaska!I came to the shelter as a tiny feral kitten, and back then I was pretty convinced that humans were highly suspicious creatures. My preferred relationship with you was basically… you stay over there, and I’ll stay over here.But the people here saw something in me. They knew underneath all that fear was a little girl with the potential to become a loving companion—and guess what? They were right.I’ve come such a long way! I’m still learning to trust, and I may need a little extra patience while I figure out that my new people are safe. I’m not necessarily going to throw myself into your arms on our first date. A girl has standards.What I need is someone willing to let me move at my own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way.If you have a quiet home, a patient heart, and room for a beautiful little girl who is still discovering just how good being loved can feel, I think we should meet.
