My story

Sky is a six-year-old Great Dane and Mastiff mix with a gentle heart, an easygoing personality, and a smile that's sure to brighten your day. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this sweet girl is ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for. Sky is wonderful with people, great with kids, and gets along beautifully with both large and small dogs. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown as we continue learning more about her. Whether she's making new friends or relaxing by your side, Sky has a calm, affectionate nature that makes her an easy dog to love. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. Sky enjoys going for walks, though she can pull a bit on leash and will benefit from continued practice to polish her manners. When it's time to play, tug-of-war is one of her favorite games, and she's always happy to join in on a little friendly fun before settling in for cuddles. Sky will also be undergoing cherry eye surgery while in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, ensuring she receives the veterinary care she needs before beginning the next chapter of her life. With her sweet disposition, playful spirit, and loving personality, Sky is the kind of dog who fits naturally into family life.
