My story

Moose is a handsome fawn Great Dane with a sweet, sensitive soul and a whole lot of love to give. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this gentle boy is settling into rescue and showing us more of his wonderful personality every day. Moose is great with kids and gets along with dogs both big and small. He can be a little nervous around larger dogs after being bullied by another Dane in his previous home, but with slow, thoughtful introductions, he settles in just fine. He has also recently shown us that he does well with cats—a wonderful discovery! This sweet boy is great in the car and walks nicely on a leash, making him an excellent companion for adventures big and small. Moose was previously kennel trained, although he hasn't needed a crate in quite some time and has enjoyed the more relaxed lifestyle of his older gentleman years. Moose is not yet neutered, but that will be taken care of soon while he is in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds. As we continue getting to know him, we're excited to discover even more about this handsome boy and what makes him happiest. With his gentle nature, loving heart, and sensitive soul, Moose is the kind of Great Dane who just wants to feel safe, loved, and included. He's ready for a forever family who will give him the patience and reassurance he needs while showing him just how wonderful life can be.
