My story
Unlike his Muppet namesake, our Ernie is a quiet, gentle character who likes nothing better than to snuggle and be near his human. Although both Ernies are sweet and playful, when it comes to treats, canine Ernie is more of a Cookie Monster! This 11-year-old chihuahua loves being the star of the show, and will gladly reward your attention with much affection. Our volunteers' favorite quirk about Ernie is that he eagerly “sits pretty” for treats and love. Come meet sweet Ernie and see why he has so many fans!
