My story

STOP SCROLLING. THESE TWO LITTLE GIRLS NEED A SPECIAL FAMILY!! And maybe that special family is you, looking for a special connection with two special kitties. Meet Sting & Nectar, two 13-week-old sisters. Two tiny lives, one very special bond. They were born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). Please research CH before applying! Nectar is an adorable tortie that has mild CH. Her sister Sting, all black with faint tabby stripes, has moderate to severe CH and needs help with some of the things other kittens can do on their own. But here's the thing…Neither one of these girls knows she's “special needs.” They know how to play. They know how to love. They know how to purr. Sting needs some assistance with feeding and with using the litter box, although as she grows she has become more independent in both areas. Nectar is more independent and eats and uses the litter box on her own. We're looking for that rare person who won't look at Sting and see what she can't do, we need someone who will look at her and see what she CAN do. Someone who will happily lend a hand at mealtime, someone who will help her with the litter box, someone who will cheer when she accomplishes something new. Someone who will look at her wobbly little body and simply say… “You're perfect exactly as you are.” 🥹 And then there's Nectar—the sweet sister who can be a little more independent but would love to grow up with the sister she's always known, someone patient, compassionate and understands that the best things in life don't always come easy. Please don't let Sting's disability be the reason to keep scrolling! Please share this post if you know someone who would love to be their forever person! Both are spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and litter box trained, (Sting with a little assistance). Apply to adopt at coldenosewarmheart.orgSTOP SCROLLING.
