Marge

My story

Marge is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting, please email our foster coordinator Kris, at kris.gurka@foothillsanimal.org to set up an appointment. Marge is a sweet, loving Pekingese with a big personality packed into a little body! She absolutely adores her people and is happiest when she can be close by, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Marge gets along well with other dogs, although she does have a bit of a bossy streak and likes to make sure everyone knows who's in charge! She would do best with a family who appreciates her confident little personality and won't mind letting her be the queen of the castle. Because of her short, stubby legs and adorable smooshed Pekingese face, Marge isn't a pup who needs—or should have—an overly active lifestyle. She enjoys taking things at her own pace and will need an adopter who understands when it's time to slow down, relax, and let her little body rest. Short, easy outings followed by plenty of cozy downtime are much more her style than long walks or strenuous exercise. If you're looking for a loving companion who would rather be by your side than run a marathon, Marge could be your girl! She's affectionate, charming, a little bossy, and ready to find someone who will love her just the way she is.
