My story

Meet Chico, a happy, playful guy who believes the best place to be is wherever you are. He loves being your shadow, and while he’s not a puppy anymore, he still has plenty of energy for fun and adventures. Chico is incredibly smart and food motivated—bring a few treats, and you’ll have his full attention. He gets along well with other dogs once he learns their boundaries and settles into the group. He is crate trained, but he does have one small request: if you walk past his crate, please acknowledge the handsome gentleman inside. Being overlooked is simply unacceptable in Chico’s world. Chico does well on a leash, though his excitement can get ahead of his manners when he’s first getting to know you. With a little time and consistency, he settles into being a great walking buddy. With his cheerful personality and love of companionship, Chico is ready to bring plenty of fun—and a very devoted shadow—to his new home.
