My story

Hi, this is my cat Chicken! I got her from a shelter in June of this year. They had her breed listed as ‘Maine coon’ but I’m not confident that’s the correct breed mostly because of her size. She’s about 5 years old and 11lbs. I’m looking to rehome Chicken because I don’t think that I’m a good match for her. She is always full of energy, I and my small apartment don’t provide enough stimulation for her. Chicken is a very social cat and not shy in the slightest. She loves people and is extremely curious. From the moment I opened her box when I brought her home she hopped right out and immediately started rolling around and exploring with no hesitation. She does have some petting aggression when petting her body. She loves head scratches though. She’s never hurt me, but she will let you know she’s over it. I think chicken needs more space and interactions with others. I’m not sure of her past life and how she is around other animals. But I think it’s likely she’ll love other pets.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Chicken, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
