My story

Hello! My name is Lauri and I am a mature lady who is looking for my fur-ever family to love. I am about 12 years old, spayed, and the doggy doctor says I am a healthy girl with all my vaccines up to date. I get along with other low energy easy going dogs, and love to spend time with people I trust. Do you like to watch tv on the couch? I'm your girl! Do you like to sit out on the deck and listen to the birds chirp? Count me in! Do you like to go for short walks and enjoy the crisp fall air? Me too! I love to snuggle on my foster dad's lap and I'm a sweet mature lady who lives with two other dogs who allowed me to settle in before trying to be best friends. Now, you can find me snuggling in the same dog bed next to my foster brother by the heat vent snoozing in the sunshine. I would love a home in which my humans were home often, and the family environment is low energy, without small children as they can move very quickly and that overwhelms me. I'm learning to do my business outside as I am used to going on to the bathroom on pee pads inside the house. My biggest hope is to find a family who is kind, gentle, home often, loves to snuggle, a home environment that is calm and quiet, and if there are other fur-pets in the home that they will give me my space at first to adjust.
