Lance King (Bonded w/Lucas King)

My story

Meet Lance: he’s currently auditioning to replace your preferred navigation system. Lance takes the lead wherever he goes, confidently walking just ahead with his perpetually quirked tail held high to show you the way. He may move at his own pace, but that’s only because he believes in appreciating the scenery, even when that scenery is the same familiar patch of carpet he’s admired many times before. While he clearly has plenty to say, his “voice” only comes out as an endearing whispery, honk-like meow. He’s picked up a few habits from his foster dog sibling, most notably his love of dramatic flops and enthusiastic belly rubs. Lance is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his person, whether that’s stretched across the couch or supervising daily routines from just a few steps ahead. Lance is bonded to his brother, Lucas, and together they take their nighttime security duties seriously. They’ve thoughtfully arranged themselves so Lance guards the pillow while Lucas holds position at the foot of the bed, ensuring their human is covered from all angles. Lance would do best in a quieter home where he can settle in comfortably and keep life moving on a predictable schedule. As a longer-haired cat, he does need regular at-home grooming to keep his coat in good condition. He does well with older children, other cats, and calm dogs. He was born in April 2023 and is neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
