My story

3/24 Update: Roux is settling into the house routine very well. She loves to be outside and will be great with an active person/family who wants an adventureous buddy who also loves to just hang out. Walks are fun with her... she keeps up and keeps going! She and our one dog are the best of friends and will wrestle, chase, and snuggle for hours. She seems to be more of a grazer with her food. She does not gobble it down but will eventually clean the bowl. She has strickingly white markings on her paws and chest and the cutest floppy ears that bounce when she runs. We have taken her to a couple of wineries and everyone comes over to meet her. She will greet everyone with a waggy tail but then sleeps quietly at our feet. She is doing well learning commands and is definitely potty trained! 3/18 Update: Roux is a wonderful puppy! She is social with dogs and people. We took her to a winery last weekend and everyone was coming to say hi. She's a big hit! She loves car rides (sleeps mostly) and is great buddy to walk with. She keeps in step and does not pull (unless her foster brothers are ahead of her). Although she is most happy being around her people. she will settle down in her crate and sleeps through the night without making a peep. She is a laid back puppy who loves to be outside and loves to zoom around the yard. She's a keeper! 3/14 Update: We have been fostering Roux for a couple of days and just love her. She is a gentle soul who just wants to be around her people. She is potty trained and good in her crate at night but she'd rather be snuggling with you in bed. After one day, she has mastered walking on a lease like a pro... nothing a few treats didn't help! She is playful with our resident dogs and curious about the cat. She eats well and loves her toys and chewy bones. She doesn't seem to be a nipper at this point. She hasn't met a person yet she doesn't like! Roux is a sweet pup with a side of spice.She is adventurous and curious and loves to be outside. She has magical markings and the cutest ears that are popping straight up (maybe a mix with working dog or similar).  This sweet gal will be a great addition to any home. She gets along with her two siblings - loves to play and snuggle with them. And the kids and resident roof at her foster home. Roux is sleeping through the night in her crate. She is treat motivated and is learning basic commands and the beginnings of potty training. You will love this sweet and mischevious pup! He cuddles and licks alone will melt your heart. Adoption Day: March 21st at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
