My story

Meet Bison! Bison became a Frosted Face after transferring from an LA County shelter April 20, 2023. While Bison has been a resident at the rescue for some time he’s had an amazing transformation and even knows sit, down, shake with both hands, and fetch! This year especially Bison got to shine on multiple fling/field trips in which he got to show just how great he can be in a home An experienced FF M&M foster reports: “-Bison is incredibly easy in a home. -so quiet that I genuinely forgot he was in the room with me a few times. -loves playing with his people, but he’s also a very independent dog and happy to entertain himself. -Since he’s so gentle, his toys and bully sticks last a very long time. -absolutely no separation anxiety -great with each guest I’ve had over. -easy to walk, with no pulling, leash climbing, or reactivity that I’ve seen. He’s the perfect low effort dog! So what are the cons about Bison? -He’s big. Like, really big. Personally, I love this because it means I get more dog to cuddle.” As much as Bison loves humans, he does best with his own space. Since he needs to be the only dog in his household, Bison is eligible to foster through our Molly & Me Project, a paid foster program.
