My story

Meet Nyx Introducing Nyx! Nyx is a handsome Shepherd mix who is approximately 8 months old and currently weighs 32 pounds. We rescued this little guy, along with his sister Echo from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico. These little cuties were found as strays and we are so happy to have them here to help them find their loving, forever homes. Nyx is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet and enjoys romping around, exploring his surroundings with his sister here at the rescue. He is curious, social and enjoys being held. Nyx is having fun learning to play with toys and is very smart and cuddly. We can really see him doing well in a home where he can get a lot of attention and playtime with his family. As with any puppy, we know Nyx would benefit from basic obedience training to help him learn good manners which will give him a good foundation to be the best puppy he can be. He would be a wonderful companion to grow up in just about any family environment. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that Nx will be a medium-sized dog full grown. He is just a fun, happy puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own! https://youtu.be/Mqe9JVQkOHU?si=Qmog0YS2pdZvjk_1 Nyx and is available for transport to Geneva, IL on October 12th with an approved application! Adoption fee is $400 including transport fee. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nyx, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
