My story

Meet John, a sweet and spunky 2-year-old chi mix with a heart of gold and a bit of a wobble in his step. Weighing in at 20 pounds, John is a gentle soul who loves attention, stuffed squeaky toys, veggie-based treats, and being told he’s a good boy. He’s potty trained, crate trained at night, and communicates when he needs to go outside by going to the door. Though visually impaired and managing a seizure condition (just one pill three times a day), John remains playful and full of character—he’s especially known for his charming prance and love of praise. John would thrive in a calm, low-stimulation home where he can feel safe and relaxed. A securely fenced yard is ideal, as walks can be overwhelming for him. He prefers being the only dog in the home. An experienced and understanding adopter would be the best match.
