My story

Hyatt is a sleek and handsome black domestic shorthair with a quiet, thoughtful nature. He takes his time warming up to new people, preferring to observe from a safe distance before deciding to trust. But once he does, he reveals his affectionate side, melting into cuddles and seeking out warmth and comfort from those he loves. Hyatt is the perfect companion for someone who understands that the best bonds are built with patience and kindness. He may need a little time to come out of his shell, but when he does, he will reward you with gentle purrs and endless snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal and loving cat who will form a deep connection with you, Hyatt is ready to find his perfect home. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
