My story

Meet Jalo, a sweet 12 ½ Lhasapoo lady looking for a cozy place to spend her golden years. This gal still has a little pep in her step when it’s time for a short stroll, but also loves curling up for a cozy nap. Jalo is mostly potty-trained and does well with a consistent routine. She gets along with smaller dogs and would probably do fine with dog savvy cats. If you’re looking for a companion with just the right mix of spunk & snuggles, Jalo might be your perfect match. Come meet Jalo and give her the happy retirement she deserves :) Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
