Haniff is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Haniff is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently on medication for anxiety support - Diagnosed with osteoarthritis, torn ACLs, and luxating patellas in his back legs, as well as some muscle twitches. He will have a neurologist appointment, covered by OTAT, to assess the twitching. He has been taking joint and pain meds to help with his leg issues. More about Haniff: Housebroken: Doing well overall when on a consistent routine with regular potty breaks Crate trained: No, he does not like being crated and has done best with free roam when home alone for up to 8 hours. Leash walking: Doing well overall but he can pull out of excitement to greet other people, dogs or critters. Dog social: He has been very friendly when meeting other dogs on walks. He seems to love other dogs but he has to limit his play due to his leg issues. Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: He has done well in interactions with respectful kids on walks, but may do best with older kids given his excitement during playtime. Haniff likes: - Meeting new dog friends - Playing with his toys - Keeping his brain busy! Haniff has the personality of a busy, active toddler who routinely alternates between naps and playtime all day. He loves other dogs and is always excited to meet new dog pals. He can be super sweet and charming. He can be very enthusiastic but has to limit his physical activity due to his legs, so would do best in a home where he will get lots of mental enrichment to help him comfortably burn off some energy. Haniff's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, so his adopter can spoil him a little extra! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Haniff, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
