My story

Meet Charlee, a stunning brown tabby with hints of orange that reflect her warm and lively personality. Charlee is a friendly and affectionate girl who absolutely adores cuddles and pets—she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. But don’t be fooled by her snuggly side—Charlee has a mind of her own and likes to take her time exploring new places and meeting new people. She’s independent yet curious, carefully assessing her surroundings before letting her true sweetness shine. Once Charlee has warmed up, she’s as cute as a button and twice as charming. From her gentle head boops to her soft, rumbling purrs, she knows how to melt hearts and make you feel special. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a little streak of independence, Charlee is ready to bring her unique blend of cuddles and charisma to your home! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
