My story

Meet Carmella – a 1-year-old Cane Corso/Pitbull mix with energy to spare and the softest, silkiest coat you’ve ever felt! Carmella is spayed, medically up-to-date, and ready to find a forever home where she can run, play, and soak up all the love. She’s a playful, spirited girl who’s always up for a game of fetch, a long walk, or just zooming around the yard like it’s her personal racetrack. Carmela also gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction. She loves sharing her energy with friends! Don’t let all that energy fool you—Carmella has a sweet side too. Her velvety fur makes her perfect to pet after a day of fun. If you’re looking for a loving, lively companion who’ll keep you on your toes and melt your heart, Carmella might be your perfect match. Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
