My story

Hi there! My name is Ninja and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 7 year 2 month old, male, German Shepard/Husky mix who came to SB Humane in search of a loving home to call my own. While I can happily entertain myself, there's nothing better than a good pet session! When I’m not lounging, I might surprise you with a sudden burst of energy, but most of the time, I’m all about those chill vibes. I get along really well with dogs of all sizes and would love to have a doggy buddy to play with. I’m especially bouncy and playful with my fellow pups—nothing makes me happier than some good playtime. Lately, I’ve been getting more mobile and playful during our walks, showing off just how much fun I can be! Oh, and I know the cues like "sit" and “speak". If you’re looking for a relaxed yet fun-loving companion who loves both playtime and chill moments, I’m your guy! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
