🌟 Meet Millicent – Our Resilient Senior Superstar Ready for Retirement! 🌟 Millicent is a sweet, easygoing 10-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to quit. After being found as a stray and facing a long list of medical challenges—from lumps and bumps to arthritis and heartworm—Millicent got her second chance thanks to an amazing team of rescuers and veterinarians. She’s now thriving in her foster home, and we’re thrilled to share that her biopsies came back benign and she has fully completed her heartworm treatment! 🎉 She also received a dental cleaning and extractions and is officially ready for a comfy retirement filled with love, sunshine, and snacks. Millicent enjoys the simple things in life—leisurely walks, snuggling on the couch, sunbathing, and treats. She’s affectionate, resilient, and a little hard of hearing. She can also be a bit of a bossy old lady with other dogs, so she’d do best as an only dog or with a calm companion who gives her space. Her feelings about cats are still unknown. After everything she’s been through, Millicent is more than ready for a forever home where she can kick back, relax, and be cherished for the rest of her days.
