Meet Walter – A Loyal, Resilient Soul Looking for His Perfect Match Walter’s journey has been one of transformation. Rescued as a nervous stray from ACCT Philly, this special boy arrived malnourished, with matted fur and a serious respiratory infection. But despite his rough start, Walter never lost his gentle spirit. With time, patience, and love, he’s blossomed into a sweet, silly, and deeply loyal companion. A 50/50 mix of Bouvier des Flandres and Shar Pei, Walter embodies the best of both breeds—intelligent, protective, and devoted to those he trusts. He’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary, but once you’re in his circle, he’s all in. Walter thrives with structure, patience, and a person who understands guardian breeds. He’s eager to continue the progress he’s made and would do best in a calm, experienced home that will help him build confidence and let his goofy, affectionate side shine.
