My story

Meet Frank! Frank’s journey to Frosted Faces began when his lifelong family surrendered him to the Lancaster Shelter, saying they no longer had time for him. We welcomed 13-year-old Frank on February 11th, and he immediately began winning hearts with his sweet and gentle personality. Frank is so good with dogs of all sizes and loves every person he meets, that he became a "lobbyist". What's that, you wonder? It's our affectionate term for a dog who earns the privilege of living in our cozy, comfy lobby, where he hangs out with other lobbyists and greets everyone who visits FFF. And it's not only at Frosted Faces where Frank shines as all-around good boy. He spent several months in a Foster home where he earned rave reviews as well! His Foster Mom shared: "Frank is simply the best! He’s great with dogs of all sizes and loves every person he meets. He doesn’t jump or give kisses but will happily stroll over for pets, belly rubs, and butt scritches — he gets the silliest grin when you find the spot! Frank isn’t a big walker unless treats are involved, but he loved lounging at dog beach and wandering the softball fields. He played a little with our dog — mostly while lying on his back! He follows us around but shows no separation anxiety. He knows 'Sit' and 'Shake,' takes medicine easily in a pill pocket, and hangs around the kitchen hoping for treats. Frank is such a mellow, lovable companion — truly the sweetest old man looking for someone to love him!" Could Frank be the low-key, high-love best friend you've been searching for?
