My story

*This is a courtesy living.* Meet Rocko! Rocko is a 10-year-old senior dog who’s been with his family since he was just 3 months old. Unfortunately, due to a move out of the country to assist a family member, his family is looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years. Temperament & Behavior: Rocko is sweet and loves attention, cuddling, and belly rubs. He can be a bit anxious at times, especially in the car or when waiting for food, and he tends to whine in those situations. He is a very loyal and protective dog who craves love and care. He’s great with kids, including a 3-year-old in his current home, and is fine with the two other dogs in the household, although he may bark at them if they’re roughhousing too much for his liking. Exercise & Activity: Rocko loves his daily walks around the neighborhood and enjoys hiking too. He’s an active dog who still loves to get out and enjoy nature, though he’ll appreciate a calm pace as he gets older. Rocko does exhibit leash aggression towards dogs during walks, so his new family may need to help with that behavior. He can also bark at cats and small animals. Health & Diet: Rocko takes a joint health supplement called Dasuquin with MSM a few times a week, which has worked wonders for him. He should avoid jumping off high surfaces to protect his back. Potty Training: Rocko is house-trained and goes out every 6 hours. Thanks to his consistent daily walks (3 times a day), he has not had any accidents in the house for the last year and can hold his pee until taken outside. Fun Facts: Rocko loves to sunbathe by the window and cuddle up on laps. He’s a fruit lover and enjoys snacking on apples and other fruits. His ideal day involves a walk, a lap cuddle, and plenty of attention from his people. Ideal Home: Rocko would thrive in a home where he gets a lot of attention, care, and a consistent routine. He’s loyal, sweet, and full of love to give. He’s looking for a family that can provide the time and care he deserves in his senior years. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion to join your family, Rocko may be the perfect match! To learn more, please contact Sarah by calling/texting (213) 839-0950 or emailing emmanuellesarah79@gmail.com *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rocko, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
