My story

Jane is a mellow and affectionate grey and white domestic shorthair who is ready to be your furrever best friend. With her calm and friendly nature, she is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a devoted feline friend. Jane would love nothing more than to be by your side 24/7, whether that means curling up next to you on the couch, following you around the house, or simply keeping you company during quiet moments. While Jane adores human companionship, she also gets along well with gentle dogs who respect her space. She’s easygoing and adaptable—so long as she doesn’t have to travel. Car rides and new environments aren’t her favorite, and she much prefers the comfort of a familiar home where she can fully relax. If you're looking for a loving, loyal cat who will always be there to keep you company, Jane is the perfect match. She’s ready to shower you with affection and be your lifelong best friend. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
