My story

Vince is a handsome brown tabby and white Domestic Shorthair with a curious mind and a sensitive soul. Independent by nature, he prefers to do things on his own terms, taking time to warm up to new people and places. Once he feels comfortable, his inquisitive personality shines through—he loves to explore, observe, and find cozy spots to claim as his own. Vince would do best in a calm home with older, cat-savvy children who understand and respect his boundaries. A true foodie at heart, Vince’s love language is mealtime. He never misses a chance to enjoy a good snack and will happily remind you when it’s time to eat. While he may not be a snuggler, his presence is a comforting one—quiet, watchful, and full of personality. Vince is ready to find a home that appreciates his thoughtful ways and gives him the space (and treats!) he deserves. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
