Meet Royalty, a sweet 1 year old spayed female kelpie/terrier mix! She's a great size at about 26 lbs. Royalty is a shy girl at first, who takes some time to warm up to new people (especially men). However, she comes around with a little love and patience! Due to her shyness, we recommend a home with no kids. Royalty LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with a doggo sibling(s) to play with, keep her company, and remind her to come out of her shell ! She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. From Royalty's current foster: "Royalty has settled into the daily routine quite well! Including hall zoomies with her stuffies, playtime with her foster doggo sibling, cuddles, belly rubs, "yoga stretch" time and walks. Relationships to males has been wary, but her foster dad is now her friend. She is crate trained and ideally needs go outside every few hours if not crated. Royalty would have preferred to sleep in a human bed last night but was coaxed easily to her crate after some snuggles." She is medically up to date, pee pad trained and working on housetraining, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special girl today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2338111##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Royalty, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
