My story

Meet Sunny! Sunny is a 2 year old Pomeranian mix who was saved from a hoarding situation along with his girlfriend and three puppies. Sadly, as is common in these types of situations Sunny is under socialized and shy at this point in time. Sunny is slowly learning we are only here to provide him love and care, and is doing wonderful in his foster home. We are confident he will make a wonderful family member for a family who understands his past and gives him the time he needs to learn to trust new people. As with all rescue dogs, they will need a family who is understanding and prepared to work through a period of transition with them as they learn to live in a house and around people. They will need time to trust their new family before working on training, such as house training. We require all our animals to be trained using positive reinforcement methods ONLY. Sunny will to do best in a home without young children as well (10+), that has another confident dog in the home.
