My story

Sorbet is a stunning silver tabby with a gentle soul. This lovely girl can be a little shy at first—she takes her time warming up to new people, places, and animal friends. But don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe and comfortable, she turns into a total sweetheart who loves head scratches and quiet companionship. Sorbet would do best in a calm home with older, cat-savvy kids who understand the importance of patience and personal space. She’s not one to rush into things, but she’s absolutely worth the wait. Give her the time she needs, and you’ll earn a loyal, affectionate companion for life. Looking for a gentle, low-key kitty to love? Sorbet might just be your purr-fect match! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
