Oreo appreciates attention and petting but may show signs of overstimulation, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.A volunteer writes: Seen waiting outside a school for about a week, Oreo was aptly named by the students. Inspired by learning and basking in the glow of her new name, she also took this as her cue to join in. Oreo's a quick learner, so she politely raised her paw to ask if anyone had seen her forever family. The students looked to their teachers who weren't sure of the answer themselves, but knew exactly where to go for one. Now that she's here, Oreo curls up in her cubby and continues to wait, but oh, how she brightens with visitors. She noticed me admiring her little cat circle and came right out, sitting proudly and hopefully for cuddles. Twirling herself into my arms like a studied professional, Oreo explained she's really still learning herself and is specifically interested in forever families. If you have a moment, please come in and meet this spectacular cat student soon. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 17.69 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks
