My story

Curry | 7 years old | Cat and dog friendly | Professionally trained | 49 lbs | Toronto area Curry is a very sweet and special dog with the most beautiful bright brown eyes! He has been let down a lot by humans a lot in his past. Because he's had a lot of instability, Curry needs structure, consistency, and guidance to help him feel safe and be his best self. His needs are modest--basic daily routines and practices--but he likes to know your expectations and takes so much pride in meeting them! Curry has been fostered by a professional trainer for months, and is therefore our best trained adoptable dog! This really takes a lot of the hard work away from you, and your job will be simply to help him maintain all his excellent skills through structure and consistency. Curry is smart, responsive, and remembers everything he is taught. Curry is quite chill and easy. He enjoys his walks, and relaxing with his people. Other than that, he doesn't really make demands. He's a social guy, but cautious. When he's uncomfortable with another dog, he'll simply move away and when he's comfortable, he'll play or just relax alongside alongside them. He absolutely loves cats, and would be a great sibling to a dog or a cat! He is up for adventures in the city or the country, and he has amazing recall on his long-line leash. He also enjoys agility work since he loves to learn. If you are looking for a dog who is loyal, loving, and obedience trained, then Curry is your boy. Despite the upheaval he's experienced, Curry is so brave and willing to take chances to trust new people. Will you take a chance on him?
