My story

Meet Terra! Terra entered Downey Shelter as a stray, and when she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on April 22nd. Terra is estimated to be 10 years old, weighs 13 lbs., and is so sweet. Terra is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about her in a home, while she gets lots of love and attention. We received this wonderful first update from her Fling Mom: "Terra is as close to perfect as a dog could be. She is the friendliest little gal, loves to be held, and is as sweet as can be. Terra walks really well on the leash and doesn’t react to other dogs. In the play yard at FFF, she plays nicely with the others. She and my 4 dogs got along immediately as if they already knew each other. Terra was perfect riding in the car on the way home. She mostly sat or slept and occasionally looked out the window. Terra is very quiet at home, I haven’t heard her bark yet. She was quiet all night. Terra has been perfectly house-trained while here and her bed was dry overnight. Terra is curious about everything and is always sniffing on a walk. She has no separation anxiety. and sleeps when I’m gone. Terra must have had a home at one time, but somehow this wonderful girl ended up as a stray." Check back soon for the next update from Terra's Fling!
