My story

Meet Buster! Bust-o-rama is a newer arrival to HAP from a shelter partner in Louisiana! He's our young and perfect cattle mix with the best personality and the best disposition! Buster is definitely a staff and volunteer favorite due to his fun loving, intelligent, HAPpy go lucky personality. He's met young children and has done really well and he also has met all different types of dogs big and small and has done well with them all! Buster is a smart guy as he already knows his recall, sit, paw, down, and almost has sit pretty! He loves his toys and is always up for a round of fetch - especially if there's a pool or water nearby for him to jump in to cool down in after. Buster also walks incredibly well on the leash and has great manners when passing other dogs, people, or bikes. Buster really would be a great addition to any home or family - whether as a solo superstar or as an addition to a current pack! So stop by today and meet the fantastic Buster! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
