Meet Hope, a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix who’s as lovely as her name suggests. This calm and gentle girl was surrendered due to her owners’ divorce, no fault of her own. She’s adjusting to the change with grace and that same sweet, easygoing spirit that makes her such a joy to be around. Hope is eager to please and has a mellow, people-loving nature. She’s done great with kids and is house trained, making her an easy addition to a home looking for a low-key companion. She used to attend doggy daycare and was fine with the other dogs, but she would guard her person from them. If you have another dog, Hope may get upset if the other dog approaches while she's getting attention. She should meet your dogs before going home. She’s lived with cats before, but her idea of fun involved chasing them, so a cat-free home would probably be the best fit. If you’re looking for a loyal, kind-hearted dog who’s past the puppy chaos but still full of love to give, Hope might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
