My story

Meet Lulu ACCT-A-218350! Lulu is a 12-year-old female who came in as an owner surrender on 4/26 due to the owner being evicted. Medical Notes: Per an exam on 4/26: “URI, senior and a bit lethargic. Assessment: -PT is QAR, has URI d/c from the eyes ( yellow ) and is a bit lethargic. Body condition score of 4/10. -Mm touch is slightly dry -Eyes have yellow discharge coming from OU -Ears are waxy AU -Slight nasal d/c in the nose, pale/pink gums, yellow staining on the teeth, possible infection in the mouth. -Abdomen is hard and firm -Coat is matted” Behavior Notes: Per staff 4/29: “Poor Lulu is very confused as to what's going on. She is now living in an office to try to help her decompress. She will come out from her hiding spot and walk around, and seems to enjoy her wet food, but isn't feeling her best so doesn't want to be touched right now, although she will tolerate pets.” Per the owner: “Fully litter trained, medium energy. Her favorite toys are, cat grass, catnip or catnip-filled toys, cardboard boxes, wand toys and laser pointers. She enjoys napping and relaxing, being groomed or brushed, being petted and, playing with other cats. She likes to scratch scratching posts or cat trees and cardboard scratchers. Super friendly/loves strangers and children. Has not been around dogs. Neutral/no reaction to cats.” The owners favorite thing about Lulu is “She is very loving.” ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
