Meet Blue, the lovable three-year-old Husky mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit! At 49 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of energy and affection—always ready to run and play, but never too busy for some well-earned cuddle time. Blue’s friendly nature makes him a fantastic fit for a multi-dog household, as he thrives around his fellow furry friends.Despite being heartworm positive, his treatment is fully covered by Second Chance SPCA, so he’s on his way to feeling his best. And trust me—his zest for life hasn’t slowed down one bit! Blue loves to shower his humans with sweet kisses and is eager to find a family that will embrace his loving, adventurous personality.Are you ready for an affectionate, fun-loving companion? Blue is waiting to bring endless joy (and plenty of sloppy kisses) to his forever home!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
