Meet Dexter – Loyal, Loving, and Looking for His Leading Lady Dexter is a gentle and affectionate soul who’s ready to find a calm, patient home to call his own. While he may be hesitant and withdrawn at first, once he feels safe, he bonds deeply and becomes a devoted cuddler. Dexter is house-trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and knows basic commands. He sleeps soundly through the night and appreciates the quiet comforts of home life. He gets along well with other dogs and would benefit from a fenced yard where he can safely explore. Dexter would do best in a female-only household. He feels most comfortable and secure around women and thrives in a calm, nurturing environment. If you're looking for a sweet, low-key companion who just needs a little time and love to shine, Dexter may be your perfect match. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
