My story

These inseparable 8-year-old Mastiffs have shared their whole lives side by side, and their bond is truly special. Both easygoing and affectionate, Miley and Gunner are ready to bring double the love, snuggles, and slobbery kisses to a home. They’d thrive in a peaceful environment where they can stretch out, relax, and enjoy the comforts of home—preferably with an extra-large dog bed… or two! As senior large-breed dogs, they currently take a daily joint supplement to support their mobility and overall comfort. A relationship with a veterinarian is also recommended to help keep them happy and healthy in the years ahead. Because of their size and breed-specific needs, we encourage potential adopters to do a bit of research on large-breed dogs to better understand their care and tendencies. Miley and Gunner haven’t lived with other animals before, so we recommend proper introductions and using good judgment when considering any new furry friends. Any children in the home should be dog-savvy and respectful around these gentle giants.Miley and Gunner must be adopted together, as they rely on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. These two can currently be found in Dog Adoption Room 1 at BHS- but not in our regular kennels. They’ve been given a larger space so they can stay together and have plenty of room to move about! If you’d like to meet this duo, just ask the front desk staff—Miley and Gunner can’t wait to meet you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Miley~24/25-0313b, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
