My story

Meet Shadow Suitcase! Shadow was adopted from San Diego Humane Society in 2013. Sadly, now 12 years old, he was surrendered back to the shelter with his little friend Marley (also available for adoption.) We scooped up Shadow (and brother Marley) on May 7th to become Frosted Faces. While they can be adopted individually into separate homes, we would be overjoyed to see them adopted together! Both have gone on separate two-week Frosted Flings and done well, but ask our volunteers, and they'll tell you: Shadow and Marley have an extra twinkle in their eyes when they are together. Here's the scoop on Shadow: * Weighs 79 lbs., every ounce loving & cuddly * Content with a few pets and someone nearby * Quiet, calm, and gentle * Cat-tested, cat-approved * Great with kids * Walks perfectly on leash * House-trained * Great with dogs of all sizes * LOVES toys, especially balls * Enjoys playing with his dog friends (see video!) * Waits his turn for a treat and offers a perfect “sit” — he won’t budge until released! * Never misses a chance to say hello — whether you're walking by or all the way across the street, this lovebug wants to greet you! * Patiently puts up with Marley's silly antics, just like any good big brother does! Together, Shadow and Marley are SO easy and enjoyable to be with. When they went on a two-week Fling together, we learned the boys put themselves to bed by going into crates when it’s time to settle down for the night!
