Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Honey! She is around 2 years old weighing only around 7 pounds. We have no idea what mix she is, but we're going to guess a Shih Tzu/Poodle of some kind based on her "before" picture. She was found a ragamuffin, but has been given a nice grooming and is feeling MUCH better. She just LOVES being with her person. She cares more about people than she does other dogs, and it seems like she is very adaptable to any place as long as her people are there. Are you looking for a tiny sweetheart to love and adore? If you would like to meet this adorable dog an application must be filled out https://www.cognitoforms.com/New2URescues/AdoptionApplication We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents. We are registered in NY State with the Dept of Agriculture RR #033 and a registered 501c3 Non-Profit.
