My story

Say hello to Grilled Cheese!This sweet but sensitive five year old boy is looking for that special person, or people who can show him how good the house cat life can be. Brought in as a stray, this gentle spirit has had quite the journey in a brief amount of time. He`s looking for a quiet home where he can be free from both the wild, scary streets and the busy environment of our shelter. Sensitive in nature, Mr. Whiskers can be shy at first when meeting new people. Easily spooked by loud noises and quick movements, he responds best to slow, gentle interactions. While it may take him a bit of time to warm up to new people and places, with a touch of patience we are sure he will blossom into a gentle, loving boy. We do not know if Mr. Whiskers has lived with other cats previously. Due to this and his sensitive nature, we highly recommend slow introductions to any potential feline family members. A slow introduction will ensure that both Mr. Whiskers and his new kitty siblings are feeling safe and secure acclimating to each other`s presence.
