My story

Meet Westley! Westley came to us from Humane Society of Imperial County. He was a stray, so we don't know too much about his background. Westley weighs 10 lbs., and we estimate he is 6 years old - a youngster by Frosted Faces standards! Westley is sweet, friendly, does well with other dogs, and walks well on a leash. He went on weeklong Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he's like in a home setting. His Fling Mom shared: "Westley is a dream. Easy going, potty trained, loves laps, cuddling, burrowing in a blanket, sleeping in bed with you as well as under the covers. This little guy is so easy to love on. Westley never met a stranger! He is perfectly content being passed from one lap to the other. Westley enjoys being outside. He would chase toys, but not bring them back! Westley did not typically eat a full meal at once, but preferred dry kibble available all day and he would eat it throughout the day Westley needs a patient, understanding adopter willing to help him feel safe and secure. Ideally, someone who’s home most of the time." Westley is currently on a second Fling while he waits for his forever home, and only two days in, he is already earning a rave review: "Westley is such a joy! He loves walks in the neighborhood to meet new people and doggie friends, car rides around town, and finding new places to take a nap. He isn’t reactive at all on the leash when meeting other dogs and has even calmed my own reactive doggy! Westley hasn’t met a dog he hasn’t liked. Westley has good manners when eating, has a great appetite, and loves little treats. He handled a bath yesterday with ease. Westley does follow me everywhere (even the bathroom)…my cute little shadow! I can’t believe he hasn’t been scooped up yet!" Does adorable Westley sound like the best friend you've been looking for?
