My story

Cowboy is an irresistibly cute little pup who looks like a cattle dog mixed with Corgi—or maybe another small herding breed. Whatever his exact recipe, the result is one pint-sized powerhouse of brains, charm, and adventure-ready spirit! Still a puppy, Cowboy is learning how the big world works, so he’ll need patient guidance and consistent training. The good news? That cattle-dog cleverness means he picks up new skills in a flash. Teach him a cue once or twice and he’ll be eager to show it off for treats and praise. When he’s not practicing his sits and settles, Cowboy loves being scooped up for cuddle time. Nestled in your arms, he’ll reward you with happy tail wags and that “let’s-go-explore” sparkle in his eyes. Whether it’s a stroll around the block, a weekend camping trip, or simply discovering squeaky toys in the living room, he’s excited for every adventure life offers. Give Cowboy the structure, love, and playtime a smart herding pup craves, and he’ll grow into a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s always by your side—ready to lasso your heart and trot off toward your next great adventure together. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
