Crouton

My story

Meet Crouton! When Crouton's owner passed away, he left behind a large group of pets - including 10 dogs - in need of new homes. Four of the dogs were adopted from the shelter, and we welcomed Crouton and the five other remaining dogs as Frosted Faces. Crouton is 10 years old and weighs 10 lbs. He went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about him in a home environment. His Fling Family reports: "Crouton is a sweet little Velcro dog. He just wants to be near, preferably within touch of his person. He loves to be held, loves to cuddle, and loves to lean against you. Crouton is quiet and rarely makes a peep. This boy walks like a champ and definitely loves to explore. He will stop and smell the roses at every opportunity! Crouton is a great eater and prefers soft food and treats. He sleeps in a crate without any problem and did fine left alone for up to 4 hours (that's the longest we left him.) When we left Crouton in a doggy playpen, he was asleep on the couch when we came home. He must have climbed out, but he didn’t get into anything. I think the couch is his preferred place, and he would be fine uncrated when left alone Crouton has a playful side and is great with dogs of all sizes. He will be a wonderful addition to his new family!" Crouton is currently on a second Fling while he waits for his forever home. Might it be with you?
