My story

Meet Butter & Jam – Your Perfect Pair of Kitten Companions! Butter and Jam are a bonded sister duo about 7 weeks old and as sweet (and irresistible) as their names. These two confident, playful, and endlessly affectionate kittens are looking for a forever home together—because some things are just better in pairs. Butter is a soft cream beauty with a hint of orange striping on her belly. She’s gentle, easygoing, and full of love. Butter has the softest little meow and an even softer personality—equally happy to chase her toys or curl up for a cuddle. Don’t be fooled by her size—this girl is smart and mighty! She was the first in her litter to master the litter box and figure out how to entertain herself with her favorite ball toys. Butter is a go-with-the-flow kitten who’s always happy to chill beside you, purr away in your lap, or tag along for playtime. Jam, on the other hand, is a tiny tabby with a big personality. She knows she’s gorgeous—and she expects to be treated like the queen she is. Jammy wants to be first in line for food, cuddles, and all your attention. If she’s not, she’ll be sure to let you know with her adorable sass. A future mama’s (or daddy’s!) girl, Jam loves to fall asleep in your arms, gazing up at you while you stroke her head. She’s adventurous, curious, and always on the move—turning everything (especially your shoes and toes!) into a toy and climbing to new heights around the apartment. These biscuit-making babies (named after their love for kneading from day one) have been raised with a dog sibling and seem totally unfazed by him. They love people, love each other, and are incredibly social, cuddly, and confident. You’ll often find them tackling each other mid-play, then curled up in a sweet snuggle pile moments later. Butter and Jam are the perfect combination of sugar and spice, and they’re ready to bring joy, laughter, and so much love to their forever home. Could it be yours? Vaccinated for FVRCP. Butter and Jam are scheduled for her spay and rabies vaccine on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at ASPCA - Queens Community Vet Clinic (LIC). Should they  be adopted before then, her adopters will be responsible for bringing them to and from this appointment. Waggytail Rescue will cover the cost of this spay appointment but any other vet appointments will be the adopters responsibility. To apply for Goblin, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue. Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2412236##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Butter & Jam, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
