My story

At almost 10 years old, Sasha is the kind of dog who just makes life better. She’s gentle, easy-going, and has that classic Boxer charm—just in a calmer, more refined package. Her previous family had to say goodbye because their work hours kept them away too long, but they made sure we knew just how special she is. Sasha is affectionate, smart, and incredibly well-mannered. She’s lived with other dogs, cats, and kids and got along well with everyone. Now that she’s older, she might prefer a mellow canine buddy over a wild puppy, but she still enjoys good company and a nice stroll around the neighborhood. All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations - heartworm test -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter -treatment of fleas & ticks -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
