My story

***Currently in Vancouver!!! Pansy is a lovely and calm 4-year-old terrier mix, spayed and weighing about 4.6 kg. She stands approximately 28 cm at the shoulder. Pansy is very affectionate and friendly, approaching both familiar and unfamiliar people to nuzzle and enjoy being petted. She loves being held and is comfortable showing her belly once she feels at ease. She gets along well with children under 13 years old, being gentle and quiet around them. She can be gently lifted by placing her arm under her belly, and she is calm and well-behaved in cars, although she cannot climb in by herself. Currently, she is house-trained for both indoor pads and outdoor potty, and with regular walks, she is likely to switch to outdoor potty consistently. Pansy is comfortable with meeting new dogs but prefers to stay close to people or rest alone rather than play with other dogs. She tends to avoid larger dogs and is friendly toward smaller or similarly sized dogs. She has a low energy level, enjoys relaxing, and remains calm even when encountering energetic or provocative dogs. Gentle and calm enough with cats! During walks, she follows her owner well, walking calmly without pulling on the leash. She does not guard food, shows no separation anxiety, and barks rarely. She is also well-behaved in a kennel and rides quietly in the car, although she cannot get in on her own. She was rescued from a City shelter; it appears she was likely kept in a rural yard, as she was found wearing a metal chain collar. Pansy is a calm and affectionate dog who enjoys being close to her family. She is looking for a loving home.
